About Who?

Hi and welcome to my site! I am Nikki Jean the woman behind the camera. I wouldn't say I have a passion for what I do, more like an obsession. I literally spend my days learning, and growing my talent so that I can give my clients the best photos I can possibly give.

I get a lot of questions about why I work all the time, and all I can say to them is that it's a never ending learning process. To me it's not work, it's my life. I love what I do, and wouldn't change professions for the world. I shoot in natural light, and just started shooting in studio for newborn sessions. I also run a blog that helps photographers learn as they grow.

My life isn't just my work though. I have a wonderful family life. My fiance and his daughter are a huge part of who I am today. They are both very supportive as well as my parents and niece. I have a small family, but a wonderful family all the same. My step daughter Anna and I spend weekends that I am not on shoot, playing around photographing every thing we do. You will see post of her from time to time.

You might ask yourself why choose me, it's very simple. Because you want to! You want someone who is going to be there for you, someone who loves what they do, loves who they are, and is always growing and perfecting their work. Not someone who just decides to pick up a camera one day, and call themselves a professional. I've been building my business for the past two years, and I will always continue to grow and progress as I continue on down this path.
