I got a call two weeks ago, asking to do a last minute senior session. I was on vacation, but I could never turn it down. I love what I do to much, and I am so happy I didn't! I got to meet the lovely Miss. Tori and her mother. Tori started her day off with Mel @ Rouge Salon, after that, we met up and started our session! 

Between the slipping, and sliding on ice, the climbing over snow, wind blowing so hard tears running down our faces, snow throwing, and hair flipping, we got some amazing images for her senior session! I can not wait to share her gallery with her, but for now here is her sneak peek.

Thank you Tori for making my last senior session of 2013 the best! You rock and I the world better watch out for you lady!

Goodness, this session was a long time planning! Her mother booked her session at the start of September, we talked and planed a few things out, then we had to change the date, as it was suppose to rain. Well it never did, but it did on the day we changed it to! So finally we moved it to our final date, and it was just icky outside! Freezing, cloudy, and almost dark out. Can you tell though? Not at all! She was gorgeous and she rocked her session to a T!

Larissa contacted me about her senior session, and she sounded so excited on the phone I knew this shoot was going to be amazing! We met up out at White Pines in Dixon, IL and we went all over the area. From grass, to water , to even climbing the highest trail just to catch the last of the sun. It was a pleasure getting to know this young lady through out our session.

I swear this year is just rocking! I got to work with the lovely Kayla yesterday and just had a blast! Between frolicking through the grass, and jumping all around, we did get in some amazing images! During our session, we talked about everything from family, to after school plans. Kayla is headed to get her license in Cosmetology! Look out everyone we just might have a another hair stylist joining us! I have to say it was a pleasure getting to know this young lady!

This year I have been so blessed to work with some amazing Seniors! One of them being Paige. She was such a joy to photograph. You would never know by looking at her that our day was freezing, and cloudy! She did such an amazing job on her session. Thanks to Brittany for her amazing hair and makeup, her session was perfect. Paige will be working hard in college next year, reaching her goal of becoming a teacher. She is such a doll!

Sterling High School Senior 2014

Oh Mary, this was just one of my favorite senior sessions of all time. We met up at her house to start our session. We drove around the area down to an older road where we caught some amazing lighting for her session. Afterwards we drove into Sterling and finished up our session. This girl has some serious moves! 

Beautiful and dangerous? I would say so!

I met Taylor for the first time when we met up to go book her senior session. I felt so honored when she explained to me that her mom sent her to go to a local photographer studio, but wanted to work with me instead. Who wouldn't feel honored?! 

Over the next month we went over outfits and locations. We finally met up to start our session. She was the first person I ever met her stabbed herself with a blade of dead grass. Poor girl was getting bitten, stabbed, and tripping through her whole session. Even with all the incidents her shoot was amazing.

We even went out to her farm and photographed her and her adorable little puppy! One of my favorite senior sessions of all time! Thank you Taylor for choosing me to photographer your senior year!

 Oh Kaytlin, what do you say about a girl like this? Kaytlin was such a joy to work with. This young lady had it all, class, style, and beauty. I met Kaytlin as she was finishing up her hair and makeup with our wonderful stylist Mel Karn of Rouge Salon in Rock Falls.As we set out on our photo journey, Katylin had no problem taking direction, posing, and having fun!

 During one of our consultations, Kaytlin mentioned she really wanted to have an old truck in her photos. I can tell you now, I don't have a yard full of old trucks outside my back door. So one thing I made sure of was securing us a location that had everything Kaytlin was looking for. I always want to make sure my clients have what they dream of for their senior sessions.
