This is the time of year, that I just love! With the coldness, and the snow, this is the perfect time of year! I love snuggling up, watching Christmas movies, and drinking a hot cup of coco. What could make this year better!? PHOTOS!

This year I am planning a 25 day photo challenge! As a photographer I LOVE photos, and photos of Christmas are 10x better! Want to join in? Feel free to! There's a few ways to do this.

You can enter up to 25 images through out December. The deadline is December 25th 2013. A winner will be announced on December 27th 2013. All entries will be double checked and if you have not liked both Nikki Jean Photography and Rouge Salon, the entry wont count, so don't forget!

What do I win?

The winner will win a FREE portrait session with me! This session can either be, Newborn, Maternity, Senior, Engagement, or Boudoir. This contest is for a FREE session only, this does not include prints. Hair and Make up is included in sessions provided by our hair stylist at Rouge Salon. Once the winner is chosen they will be announced right here on our blog! The session will be for 2014 and must be booked by February 1st 2014. The winner will have 48 hours to contact us!

I am SO late on this one! 

But I JUST realized I never actually PUBLISHED this post! Lol, yes that's right I wrote it and never published it for my clients! So here we are, meet the wonderful Hacker family! I was first contacted by Mandy shortly after I did a few photos for her friend, Sara. We booked her session, went over outfits, and then our day was set!
Or was it? We get there and Dad isn't there yet {scheduled before he was off work, lol} and someone decided they didn't want to wear anything besides their favorite sweat pants and top. So we let sister throw leaves on him while we were getting sit up!

As most can see I don't normally do family sessions, just because they use to scare me! Well after working with this family, I realized I think I might like it!

Christmas from a Client

Today was an amazing day! 

Let me give you a little back story to this post. About two years ago, I met a lovely lady named Kayla while purchasing a purse from her. Over the next two years we grew close, and became friends. During this time I met her mother Patty as well. I've been photographing Patty and her family for almost a year and a half now! I first started photographing Kayla and her husband Jesse { Whom by the way will be on the blog soon as well! }, then I was booked to photograph Patty's whole family, and while I do that to do her youngest daughter's senior photos. 

Well, now I just wrapped up her youngest senior session, and working over the next year with Kayla and her family as they start to grow their family! Now skipping back to today! Today I received a visit from Kayla who was dropping off something her mother Patty had asked her to. As it turns out, Patty bought me a WONDERFUL Christmas gift! I now have an amazing new camera 

Epiphanie Bag!!

 I LOVE my new bag! Thank you so much to Patty and the Rood family for such an amazing year of photo shoots, and laughs, and thank you for my lovely gift!
